Delta is already here. A tiny orb that follows you across the web and changes with what you are doing. It uses your Delta AI account, and each action counts as one chat message from your plan.
📖 Reading: it floats quietly. Summarize, key points, explain simply. On YouTube it can summarize a video from its captions
✎ Writing: improve, fix grammar, shorter, more professional or friendlier, then replace your text (with undo). Also: reply to a message you selected, continue your writing, and a tone you choose once
</> Coding: explain code, find bugs, clean it up, add comments, fix an error message, explain a regex, convert to another language
◉ Vision: describe an image, read its text, tell you what it is. Or draw a box around anything on your screen (Screenshot area)
文 Translating: translates the whole page right on the website as you scroll, with a Show original button, or just a selection, into the language you choose (Spanish, Chinese and about 40 languages)
· Resting: a tiny orb when nothing is going on
✦ Select text: a small pop-up appears with Explain, Translate, Reply or Improve
💬 Allowance: nothing on screen until you are close to your limit, then a calm heads-up
💾 Save: keep any answer in your Delta chats
⌨ Shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+Y (Command+Shift+Y on Mac) opens or closes it. You can change it at chrome://extensions/shortcuts
🔒 Private by design: Delta works out what you are doing on your own device. Nothing from the page is sent anywhere until you tap an action. Password and card fields are never read, and Delta hides itself on sign-in, payment and banking pages. You can turn Companion mode off, or hide it on any site, from its Settings.
ℹ️ About the warning: when you install, Chrome will say the extension can “read and change data on all websites”. That is how any tool that appears on every site works. Delta reads a page only when you tap an action, and a screenshot is taken only when you tap Screenshot area.
⬇ Download for Chrome / Edge / Brave
How to install:
1. Unzip the downloaded file
2. Open chrome://extensions in your browser's address bar
3. Turn on Developer mode (top right)
4. Click Load unpacked, and select the unzipped folder
5. Open deltaai.live in the same browser and sign in with Google (the extension picks your sign-in up by itself)
6. The Delta orb will appear on any site you visit. Click the toolbar icon any time to open it
Already installed an earlier version? Unzip the new one over the old folder, then press the reload button on its card in chrome://extensions.
Works on Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium-based desktop browsers. Not yet available as a Chrome Web Store listing, or for mobile. A native Android/iOS app is a separate, future project, not something a browser extension can become.
